I have no problem reciprocating civility. One thing we should all agree upon, above all else, is to disagree agreeably. If I have ever come off as uncivil to you, which is possible in these heated debates, then I apologize.

I will, however, never apologize for speaking the truth. One thing that really frustrates me is the knee-jerk fashion with which many on FR defend Bush, especially in regards to the issue of Illegal Immigration.

Bush deserves much criticism here, and to deny at this point that Bush wants the free and unrestricted flow of cheap labor across our Southern Borders to me is not only naive, but borders on cognitive dissonance. He has had more than six years, five of them after 9-11, to secure our borders, and still refuses to do it. That’s not an opinion, that’s a statement of fact. Our borders are not secure because Bush doesn't want them to be, and that’s the truth.

I would love to discuss this issue with you, but the bozos on this thread who haven't got a thought in their heads, and instead post bile from their loins, make it impossible.

Threads like this and irresponsible, angry, hate-filled posters like the ones posting here are the reason so many, many decent, honest conservatives rarely, if ever, post on FR any more.

The same words can be found on DU. In fact, I would guarantee that some the same posters can be found on DU.

This thread is disgusting.

(I returned to reply to your post, but will not read the vile attacks on possibly the most honorable man to ever occupy the Oval Office that surround it).

Well said. And he’s quite possibly destroyed his political party in the process.
