Yes...you are right.

That speech Sessions gave on the Senate floor about a year ago about the Senators being told in the cloakroom how to vote by their aides was a real eye-opener.

Good morning ladies.

Mo-—I know you have the kiddos home..so you might not be able to watch the Senate this week...which is probably a good thing...LOL

Bah...Reid opened the Senate with his normal litany of complaints about how awful everything is in the world..and how it is all Bush’s fault...but THEY will fix it.

Craig Thomas stood up for the GOP..and mentioned it has been 61 days since Bush asked for the money for the troops..but they can’t even work on it because Pelosi refuses to bring the House back..even though our troops do NOT get a weeks vacation...

Then, TA DA....Sen. Bennett stood up and read excerpts from the WaPO editorial against Nancy Pelosi..and said he was going to talk about the economy...but that Pelsoi’s “shadow” foreign policy trip was too important and “needs to be talked about”...LOL YAY!!!

Cornyn then got up and said he concurred with Bennett about Pelosi..and then talked again about the war supplemental...and how the HOUSE is letting down the troops.

On C-span...there is that stupid debate between Gingrich and jon f’n carry...

It took about 5 minutes of watching carry’s tongue darting out of his mouth to make me physically ill...so I have NO idea how that is going.

Harry Reid did say they were going to be talking about federal funding of ESC research today...they are in a quorum call.
