Don Imus will appear on the Rev. Al Sharpton's radio show Monday, five days after Imus made racially charged comments on his own show about the Rutgers women's basketball team, Sharpton and MSNBC announced Sunday.
Despite Imus' scheduled appearance, Sharpton said his position was unchanged: He wants Imus fired and intends to write the Federal Communications Commission about the matter.
"Somewhere we must draw the line in what is tolerable in mainstream media," Sharpton said Sunday. "We cannot keep going through offending us and then apologizing and then acting like it never happened. Somewhere we've got to stop this."

Sharpton wrote the book on racism, that prick. His arrogance, condescension, and hypocrisy are jaw-dropping.
Imus needs to tell this race-baiter to screw himself sideways.

Imus will be bringing his checkbook to the interview - and all will be forgiven.

Even though I hate Imus and think he is a total nutbag asshole, It still pains me to see another white man prostrate himself to a thug like Sharpton.
On the other hand, anything that ends with Imus off the air must be a good thing.

I see that the groveling continues.
Imus should focus 33% on Tawana, 33% on Freddies Fashion Mart and 34% on Crown Heights.
He should make Al (the racist hate monger) explain why he is not a nappy head (and bring a picture montage of Al's various hairdo's.).

A liberal, intolerant bigot being lectured to by a racist anti-Semite while an immoral MSM spend time worrying about who they should support.
Is this a great country or what?

I am not a fan Imus but Rev Al and Jesse Jerkson are nothing but extortionists! Shacking down large corporations and ruining personal lives and careers to fund thier own dispicable lives. Exploitation of thier own race is thier game. Al Sharpy Sharpton still to this day has not publically apologized for the Tawana Brawley lie!

Don Imus has always walked on the razor’s edge of “racial”
humor. If you need any reassurance of this, check out his
1975 comedy album, “This Honky’s Nuts”. Funny as heck,
but it bent and even broke on the comedy scale with some
of its’ material content.
Imus had fallen out of favor with me some years ago as he
seems to have grown more liberal with age. His statement
about the Rutgers’ girls was both foolish and unnecessary,
but is about the same type of nonsense that is heard daily
by the comics on BET(Black Entertainment Television).
I don’t see Sharpton protesting that production or anything else negative within the black community.
This prohibition of criticism on minorities, started by
the liberals, is a surefire way to keep these people as
a permanent underclass. Without criticism, there is noway
to know what one is doing wrong....JJ61
