Male homosexuals, on average, die young (40’s) even when AIDS deaths are factored out.

Causes of death correlated with male *and* female homosexuality include homicide, suicide, drug abuse, alcoholism, auto accident, recreation accident, and others.

Basically, there is a statistical relationship between a homosexual lifestyle and a variety of causes of death, many related to risk-taking behavior. This is consistent with the (former) recognition of same-sex attraction as a psychological disorder, which manifests itself in a variety of lifespan-reducing ways.

This was known to life insurance actuaries 15 years ago, when I was in the insurance biz. There are probably more recent statistical studies ... but you’ll never see them in the news.

I wondered the same thing. I could be wrong but I thought that lesbians, being less promiscuous than male homosexuals, had a lower incidence of AIDS even than the general population.

I can understand why the figures would be skewed for gays due to aids. But I suspect that oneof the reasons lesbians dkie young is because so many of them are apple shaped fat.

For starters, lesbians have a higher BMI (body mass index), which is associated with higher mortality.

The question is, do they have a higher BMI because they are lesbians, or are they lesbians because they have a higher BMI?
