MOORESVILLE, N.C. - Dale Earnhardt Jr. and sister Kelley Earnhardt Elledge showed off their impressive, new JR Motorsports race shop Tuesday afternoon.
But questions remain: Will Earnhardt Jr. also own another shop nearby - Dale Earnhardt Inc. - and when will that decision be made?"
Part of that is the fact that the [DEI] business is not where it could be over the last several years. It's going to take something to get that back, and we're in a position of time. We want Dale to drive 10 or 12 more years. We've got to get on the race track and win and get competitive and win championships. We have to have a situation that provides that for him."

Penske Racing crew chief Roy McCauley is taking some time off from traveling with the team to spend more time with his wife, Amy, who is battling cancer. Troy Raker takes over the role with driver Kurt Busch on an interim basis.

"Amy has been winning her fight with leukemia since it was first diagnosed back in February," McCauley said in a news release. "But, there have been recent complications stemming from her long-term treatment and I feel as though I need to spend more time by her side.
