That is always something that makes me so curious about some of the statements of some of the candidates for POTUS...especially the Dems.

They want to take ALL power away from Pres. Bush..and they want to make his job impossible...but, do they not consider how their actions NOW could concievably bite them in the butt IF they got elected???

It would seem that they would have the Rahm Emanuel and Schmuckies and jon f’n carry’s type to bring down the POTUS...but NO, Hillary, Obama and John Edwards seem to feel the need to poke Bush in the eye.

The other day my mouth fell open when Obama was asked about his statement that the troops in Iraq would NOT be left unfunded...which made the looney lefties go crazy...

He had some long drawn out wordy answer that said nothing really..but he ended it will saying that “we will hold the leash tight on the President, and just let it out when we want to”....or something very similar...

IOW..talking about the POTUS/CIC like a dog on a leash.

Tex, don't overlook the past performance of the Republican congressmen, they blinked every time the dems challenged them...and W started off on the wrong foot by trying to set the new "tone" in Washington and letting the clintonists skate on everything.

The dems and the media are confident that they can do anything they please and not be held accountable. What, during the past 6 years, would cause them to think otherwise?

They are all disgusting and one of two things is clear to me, either they think they will never win the White House again, or they think the Pubbies will not do the dirty like them, and run a Shadow Government. The Rats are so power hungry that they have taken this Country down time and time again, and they are not being perceived well even though the DBM tries to pump them up 24-7. They are looked upon as Cowards and anti Military. Starting here in my County the Troops heading to Afghanistan and Iraq are going to be training for two weeks (I believe) at the Bombing range. The Aircraft overhead on maneuvers (Jets and whatever) is music to our ears since this County is heavy Guard and Reserve, plus heavy retired Military.

They don't even think like that because they never ever consider a tit for tat in anything. The dems always see themselves as above the law or any rules of engagement or anything. They never expect to be called on anything and if they are they know they will get a DBM pass automatically.

That's why when one poster earlier said we should be concentrating more on the DBM and less on the Dems he was right. They are the problem. That automatic bias they exert for the dems constantly has to overcome every time they do it and it's not always easy.
