A state senator in Texas is feeling the heat from constituents and trying to apologize for arranging to have a controversial Muslim imam deliver a prayer to open the state Senate that excluded both Christians and Jews. And just what were all the other state senators doing when this was happening??? Did they all just go along with this outrage??? Why is the heat being felt from her constituents and not from her senate colleagues??? It's time to clean house [and senate] down there.

There was only one TX Senator who was a no show. Sen. Dan Patrick from the Houston area did not show up or walked out prior to the start of the muSLIME iman’s “prayer”.
What really ticks me off, is that the other senators did not walk out or stay out of the chambers during this event.

Dan Patrick walked out, and held a press conference to celebrate diversity.
Frankly, I’d have walked out and held a press conference saying I didn’t believe that an Islamic ‘priest’ should be saying prayers anywhere public during the holiest days of Christianity.
