Having worked with Dr. Kavakci on legislation, and seeing his resume and extensive inter-faith experience, I honored his request."
Think about that admission. She's working with someone who has publicly praised two of the world's most danngerous Islamic terrorists.

Muslims all over the world pray for the hatred and murder and genocide of Christians and Jews.

Defeat this woman in the next primary. She doesn’t get it. She is obviously not capable enough to hold office after 9-11.

Sorry to say, but the majority of Americans still don't get it - they remind me of that stupid guy who who got eaten by the bear in Alaska.
Blame political correctness if you want ~ Americans today are so stupid (for lack of a better word) that they would invite the Kanamits into their home
America's fall is gonna be bad ~ and when America's realize it ~ it will be too late

A state senator in Texas is feeling the heat from constituents and trying to apologize for arranging to have a controversial Muslim imam deliver a prayer to open the state Senate that excluded both Christians and Jews. And just what were all the other state senators doing when this was happening??? Did they all just go along with this outrage??? Why is the heat being felt from her constituents and not from her senate colleagues??? It's time to clean house [and senate] down there.

...arranged by state Sen. Florence Shapiro...Recall this imbecile!!!!
And did those assembled just sit there throughout the entire embarrassment like a gaggle of high school students during a puzzling assembly?
Someone, somewhere has got to display some intestinal fortitude by rising up and denouncing this stupidity on the spot!
Wonder when the Saudis will permit a Christian to address their assembled body?
Furthermore, this lunatic's admisstion that she works with this adherent of the religion from hell should be all that's needed to get her happy arse rode out of Texas on a rail after being covered with tar and chicken feathers.

There was only one TX Senator who was a no show. Sen. Dan Patrick from the Houston area did not show up or walked out prior to the start of the muSLIME iman’s “prayer”.
What really ticks me off, is that the other senators did not walk out or stay out of the chambers during this event.

Yes, my state senator and local radio talk show host Dan Patrick walked out. He talked about it on his radio station KSEV in Houston and also wrote about his reasons on his website which is something like danpatrickforsenate.com.
A freshman senator, Dan is really doing a good job on many different fronts against the political machine, including opposition to the Trans Texas Corridor, border security, property taxes, and a whole lot more. He is doing as much as one person can do up against a well entrenched machine, and that unfortunately is not much.

Unbelievably Sen. Florence Shapiro is a Republican from Texas. Of course she’s from Dallas, so that might very well be the problem.

To: owhl
Not really. Florence Shapiro is just about as conservative a Republican as you can find in Texas. Not the most conservative, but very conservative. Which makes her actions all the more disheartening. The political establishment just doesn't get it.

He talked about it on his radio station KSEV in Houston and also wrote about his reasons on his website which is something like danpatrickforsenate.com. Sadly or shall I say "expectedly"...the Houston Comical (Chronicle) covered this story by labeling Patrick as a "Self-Professed Christian".
I have never read a Comical article labeling a person a "Self-Professed Muslim"....
I loathe this newspaper and pray that it continues it's decline in readership....the entire staff should be kicked to the curb.
I can take the slings and arrows from the left...my skin is thick...I just expect the opinions to be posted on the Editorial Page.....accompanied by opposing views. Even the cartoons are primarily leftest....
Talk about wishing for the moon.....
