(( ping ))
This sounds like something down your alley....
I just don’t know how to find all those people that have pulled guns on me, I never knew any of their names, but it sounds like breakthrough television.
I wouldn’t trust 20/20 to do a fair job on this. In the past, they have gotten legit interviews that they proceeded to cut to ribbons, making fools of the interviewees.
I wouldn’t respond to this.
No way Jose.... ABC has a proven agenda - and the last thing I would want would be to turn over ANYTHING to those vultures.
Of course YMMV.
Happens something like 2 million times a year, according to research by Gary Kleck and others. However, I dont’t trust the MSM to present the true story. They’ll find some way to spin it to the anti-gun side as they almost always do.
I have always wondered about that 2 million number. do some division (365 days/year, 50 states etc, etc. and it sure seems like quite a few instances each day in each state (average of course) that a firearm when presented/shown/used prevents a violent encounter. oh well, I’m sure it is substancial anyway.
They're in the "news" business. Why don't they use a search engine and a phone?
Actually, this is probably a request for a John Stossel story. No surprise there. Stossel’s their “resident conservative” — and a good one.
I’ve used an AK-47 to defend my own apartment. You’d be amazed how fast a potential burglar will depart the premises.
Don’t give them your name or address. You don’t want to get on any kind of “LIST”. Avoid that Midnight Knock on the Door.
Ping in case you haven’t seen this.
Possible approach to the story:
“Yes, I pulled a gun and fired at an intruder with a knife. He fled. But the shot went astray and killed my wife, my three children, my dog, and the couple next door! I hate guns and never want to see one again. I loved that damn dog!”
Outside a local shopping mall, a drunk waving a gun approached and threatened a man and his family. The man, an off-duty deputy in civilian clothes, promptly drew his concealed pistol and dropped the drunk — permanently. That’s what I call good “gun control”.
This is a typical media setup and the NRA is stupid for buying into it..

Posters are skeptical about the media’s true intentions. Rightly so. These people are not your friends. Do not trust them. They will pick and choose events so as to help their gun-seizure agenda.
I could be wrong but I think he describes himself as a libertarian.
