It’s a holiday weekend, so expect AP to get the truth out about Global Warming when folks are distracted elsewhere. This senior climatologist’s views directly contradict the scientific “consensus” that we are all doomed — or have to stop driving cars, etc. Somebody must be making money of this junk science somewhere.

Gray feels he's right, and that his reputation will be vindicated in the end. "I've asked a few people: 'If I am right I want you to come and throw a few dandelions onto my grave.'"My forecast: One of these days, Mr. Gray's grave will win an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records for hosting the largest-ever mountain of cut dandelions.

One line from the article:
He claims the current wave of global warming scholars relies too much on models.
This is one of the many problems I have with this whole global warming nonsense.
As a computer programmer for many years, I know you can make those models (i.e., programs) do anything you want them to do. I could write one that shows the earth is going to tilt on its axis 90 deg and reverse its spin if I wanted to.
Doesn't mean it's going to happen.

Gore was on a flight from Washington, D.C., to Nashville
A carbon neutral flight I'm guessing. :)

A spokeswoman said Gore was on a flight from Washington, D.C., to Nashville Friday; he did not immediately respond to Gray's charges. Putting how many pounds of CO2 into the atmosphere.
Gore wouldn't reply to this guy, and would give the reason that he's not a climatologist. Only climatologists, not meteorologists, are allowed to discuss the climate, don't cha know.

When we were giving our protestations against algore and his trumped up ideas about globalwarming, we weren't kidding and just flapping our gums. He is a dumba$$ who picked a subject that he thought no one could prove against him. Too stupid to realize that just because he invented the Internet and various other things, like globalwarming, people would just accept it because he said so. (Some did - those who have the same intelligence as he does) He was looking for something to hitch his wagon to that could get him notice. Trouble is , it's negative al. Well, anyone with half a brain would check it out and find that there is a pattern, climate is cyclical. Period. What may seem to be warming now, will be cooling down the road. Period.
He's just a nobody trying to be a big cheese. He's stinky Roquefort

I’m beginning to think we conservatives should be GRATEFUL that Al Gore has taken up this cause.
With his fraud, obvious deceit, hypocrisy and pomposity, Gore has turned what was recently a psuedo-scientific cause celeb into a laughingstock that fewer people take seriously every day.
It reminds me of what Bill Clinton did for the Women’s Rights issue. By embracing it publicly yet mocking it with his own personal actions (and the feminist movement speakers standing by him), he set feminism back 30 years. Al Gore may yet do the same for environmentalism.
We may look back someday and owe this moron a debt of thanks.

What gets me even more than Al Gore’s actual pronouncements is how many people accept his ideas even though he has NO credentials whatsoever in the area of climatology or meteorology. Didn’t he actually study for the ministry in college? If so, his formal science background is probably very limited. If a conservative dared to speak about a topic in a similar manner, he or she would be criticized for daring to offer an opinion about a topic that they know nothing about. ALGORE gets a freeking Oscar for making a documentary about a subject that he is not even qualified to speak about.

We laugh at those who believed Columbus would fall off the edge of the earth on his journey west.
The global warming loons are just as superstitious and gullible.
But there is also big money to be made behind global warming.

Al Gore's most constant thoughts are:
"Yup, its true THERE IS A SUCKER BORN EVERY MINUTE!!" and
"Hey with an Oscar in my showcase and Nobel coming soon and almost the whole world swooning at my feet, this Global Warming gig is working out better than I expected!! Heck who cares about the damm presidency now, that's way too much headaches for anyone. Just look at the crap that Bubba & Bush got for it and a headfull of grey hairs"
