If Jesus lived today, what do you think would be his top priority?

Teaching people to achieve inner peace. After which, all of the items on your list would automatically cease.

Jesus was not in the business of violently attacking symptoms, based on what I have read. ;)

If Jesus walked the earth today, his top priority would be reconciling a reprobate humanity with a holy God.

The apostles did not have inner peace. They had hunger, strife and violence until the end of thier days. The only thing that sustained them was the peace of God that sustained them until they finished their race. Read the writings of Paul describing the inner turmoil he had. He describes himself as being a wretch fighting with conflicting desires and looking forward to his glorified body.

Jesus did not promise inner peace while on earth. He told us that the world would hate us as it hated him and told us that we would have to carry our cross. He did promise that when the world oppressed us and when there was nothing external to us that we could count on, he would provide us peace. It is not a teaching, it is not naval gazing, it is not something we obtain, it is a gift just as salvation is a gift.

BTW I think the temple money changers would have an opinion about Jesus violently attacking symptoms.
