I live in NYC - I think more about tall buildings being taken down rather than shopping malls in suburbs. Nothing can be done to prevent it. The next hit will be another major city not a shopping mall it will be in a subway system or a building. There are millions of people there and the damage is worse.
Guns are not going to stop a terrorist with a bomb - they will accomplish their task regardless.
