OK, can someone explain how Rudy can “hate” abortions,

He only hates that he has to answer this question.

OK, can someone explain how Rudy can “hate” abortions,

Yes, because that reflects my position exactly. I too ‘hate’ abortions but I also know several things:

1. To think that abortion is ever going to be completely outlawed in the USA is very naive. It isn’t going to happen.

2. Abortion is THE number one issue for libs. Like it or not, taking an anti-abortion stand will send fence-sitter voters running into Hitlery’s arms.

3. Until people stop getting pregnant with unwanted pregnancies there IS going to be abortion. This nation got people to stop smoking, now it’s time to get them to stop making unwanted babies but no one wants to talk about that.

4. R.G.’s position to ‘leave it up to the states’ is a very wise move. It forces the states to deal with it, state by state, which puts the issue and the debate back into territory that is much closer to the people. Having it remain a ‘Supreme Court’ issue is too far removed from people for them to have to really confront it.

5. We MUST stop the Clintoons and this position lets R.G. move forward in doing this.

6. If the Repubs take a ‘we will not bend’ position on the issue of abortion then the success of Hitlery is assured. Do we really want to live with ALL that this will portend, including stop-in-for-an-abortion-on-your-lunch-hour that THAT will cause?
