“said the event aims to be humorous and fun for kids”

Organizers also want to bring attention that cluster bombs cause death and destruction... They do? Crap, I've been handing 'em out as party favors and Halloween treats.

Man that is too too funny! /sarc Wonder if they will have a easter bunny with a suicide vest on that they can talk to, or have fun shooting nerf IED’s at each other, because this brings out the true meaning of Easter to all kids.

What happened to their concern for landmines? Is that now passé and the cause du jour is cluster bomblets?
To: Sub-Driver
Somebody help me out here: is a fake cluster-bomb considered to be a “war toy,” and thus glorifies warfare in general? Isn’t that the default argument?

Brian Hennessey, a spokesman for the Vineeta Foundation, a group sponsor, said the event aims to be humorous and fun for kids. Organizers also want to bring attention that cluster bombs cause death and destruction, Hennessey said. Yeah , cluster bombs, really funny.
Listening to liberals makes my head feel like it's going to explode.

I can just imagine the crowds waiting to get in to take their kids on a cluster bomb hunt. Please tell me this is satire.

When I was a kid I would have preferred a cluster bomb hunt.

They must all be founding members of
Keepers Of Odd Knowledge. (KOOKs for those in Rio Linda)
Mnay years ago I worked on the dies to make cluster bombs. I can't remember how many there were, but quite a few. (High volumne production capacity)
The fins formed into the spherical nose section were altered to attain a larger and more even spread of the bomblets. Cool lookin' little suckers. I had completely forgotten about that.
I wonder what the reaction would be at that 'alternative egg hunt' to a sign that read, "I made cluster bombs".
