Please don’t blame “greedy” corporations. We are a capitalist country. Our ideals, our freedoms, our ability to be whatever we choose to be is what lured them. Their oppressive, corrupt governments is what drove them away.

The problem is they are running away instead of standing up to their problems. Given the natural resources that Mexico has, there is no reason they couldn’t be a moderately successful democracy where people were thriving and flourishing.

Very true, and despite the common misperception of the “Lazy Mexican”, the country has a hard working population to boot.

Sorry-—but I blame corporations for ALOT these past 5+ years. They are greedy and care nothing about employees anymore...only making exorbinant profits and bonuses for themeselves.

natural resources seem increasingly irrelevant. Take japan vs. africa or japan vs. russia.
