Yes, I often resort to a beer after a long arduous battle with the snails. LOL.

Seriously, I have heard that beer will attract and kill snails and slugs, but I've not tried it. I might just put some out there and see what happens.

It works..I’ve tried it..They fall in and drown, I think.
There are snowflakes mixed with rain coming down here in Central Texas on Easter weekend!.It’s 36 degrees so it won’t stick. Global Warming alert..LOL

Lay on the lawn with a beer in one hand and a snail in the other.

Best way to use the beer is to make moat-like troughs that'll hold liquid - aluminum foil maybe or little Glad containers . . . Saucers will do, but they're best set into the ground and you will need more than a few saucers.

Beer "does" work on the snails and slugs! (Hey, it ought to be good for something!)

I used to have them in my flower beds and someone told me they are attracted to beer. My flowerbeds are slug-free - the flowers are a little wobbly though. :)
