Who is Arnold Schwarzenegger, really? According to Joe Knollenberg, a Republican congressman from Michigan, he's "kind of a Republican Al Gore." That's what Knollenberg told Fox News' Neil Cavuto on Tuesday night.
What's Knollenberg's beef? The congressman represents a district north of Detroit. Among his constituents are the Big 3 automakers. The Big 3 are feeling pretty nervous these days -- on Wednesday the chief executives of GM, Ford and Chrysler appeared before the House Subcommittee on Energy and Air Quality to lobby against tighter fuel economy (CAFE) standards.
Knollenberg has decided to carry their water -- by attacking California. He spent $10,000 of his own money to put up a billboard on I-75 that reads "Arnold to Michigan: Drop Dead." Schwarzenegger's efforts to mandate higher fuel economy standards, says Knollenberg, will cost the U.S. auto industry $85 billion. The ecofascist California liberal must be stopped!

You just like stickin’ it to me because you know I voted for him huh?
There is a BIG difference between Ahnold and Al Gore. One of them knows how to speak English.
swartzpuker sux!
sorry i voted for him the first time.
the second i did not vote for a governor.
he put forward that election that his advisors told him the electorate didn’t want, and then he didn’t support his own measures. some of the measures were good.
and so the california teachers union castrated the governor.
But I do it with a smile .. *-D
Schwarzenegger has correctly perceived that California is a socialist state.
lol, it was the Angelides commercials near the end that made me want to pile on to Mr. Peepers.(so to speak)
apparently some at this site believe FR is a socialist site as well, well a Progressive one anyway. same diff.
Okay, no. Arnold might be liberal, but he’s not a complete idiot. And Arnold has at least a passing acquaintance with sanity.
too bad Westly didn’t beat peepers in the primary, he was ready to spend a lot of dough,, phil was tight as a tick except when fulfilling his fiduciary duties in office with other people’s money.
a passing acquaintance
lol
I hope he has his license with him next time he busts a lip.
Do you supposed they are complimenting him or criticizing him? I know how it reads in my household but then I’m not a member of the illustrious mainstream media.
it is from Salon.. I hear ya.. Oh well..
Amen,
Brother
Amen. and Thanks!
I’m with you on that. I’m not particularly fond of RINOs, but they’re infinitely preferable to folks like the scarf-covered idiot who’s been trotting around Syria the past couple of days.
Arnold might be liberal, but hes not a complete idiot. And Arnold has at least a passing acquaintance with sanity.

His spending and borrowing might toss a monkey wrench in that line of reasoning.
It’s like conservatives are offered two choices, Bad and Worse and then have to cheer for any little victory and still get slammed for asking for another helping out of turn..
If that’s good in some folks eyes, to have a party’s hands tied and shanghaied an dplayed against itself while the state gets robbed over and voer again, then why even have two parties, just let the Third Way Progressives or socialist democrats have the keys because you’re only a couple votes away from it happening anyway.
It was a helluva ride, but .. The chickens will be home soon to roost and the cows won’t be far behind.
I reckun the fight has been sucked out of most folks when I see some comment on the thread as they do..
