Thanks, found the quote. Clearly he’s not talking about the narrow issue of public financing for a legal procedure, but seems to state quite clearly that access to abortion is a Constitutional right. And not the law of the land based on the Supremes decison, but a Constitutional right. At least he’s straigtforward.

Rudy’s not going to win. He doesn’t have a prayer. The hardening is going to continue along idealogical lines; unfortunately I suspect there are more of them than there are of us. However, a Republican needs his base, and Rudy just ain’t going to have any luck with the conservative base. As for me, I am not voting for a pro-choicer no matter what.
