Hi, Veronica!

I have a few days off from work and my Navy cousin says a whole bunch of seagulls are flying around the ocean near Ventura. Want to go fishing this weekend? I caught a big one around there at another time. It tasted great.

Well, about a zillion posts here argue over that question, in the capture the moniker game. If fact, sometimes it seems like almost everyone here does but myself. (I have posted zero posts on the topic - zero, nada, the null set.) I could make an argument that some of the items on your list are "conservative," having to do with the rights of the individual not being circumscribed by intrusive government, but then I could argue the other way too, because I'm a lawyer, and I get paid to do that. Frankly I don't give a d**m what the label is. I put the most emphasis on leadership and management abilities, and on growing the economy, taming the medical subsidy beast, and security. If I put a big premium on the gay rights issue, or prayer in school, or the evolution wars, or stem cells, or the morning after pill, legalizing assault weapons in Manhattan, etc., I would be a Democrat. But I don't.

By the way, if Giuliani wins the nomination, and you going to try to lead your following into supporting a third party candidate?

A vote for RINO Rudy is a vote for liberalism.

What's a vote for Hillary? You can tell me after the election.

You’re naive about the kind of foreign policy people liberal Republicans gravitate towards.

Your crosstabs are out of date.

Even allowing for this, look at the level of support in your crosstabs. It’s pathetic. It shows a disunified sample. It portrays a lesser of the poor choices which is Guliani.

And do you know the sample size?

Polls can be useful in trending. A more useful crosstabs would be Pre-Post on the same sample or a different sample that could be tracked. Such a tabulation would show how support shifts from one candidate to another. A present trending poll shows an unannounced candidate taking away a statistically significant portion of the Guliani tilt. That candidate is FDT.

Actually, the terrorists’ worst fear is somebody who will stand up to them.

You are actually incorrect. Ivan, has a link on his home page, and anyone who can conduct them civilly is welcome. We don't care if you are there are not. There is nothing to spy on, but feel free to continue the fantasy..LOL This thread is proof enough of why there is a need for another place to go, where a person is not personally attacked when someone disagrees. I consider it an add-on not an anti- anything site.

Even though Mad Ivan has posted as recently as 3/9/07, Jim Robinson told him to "Get Lost" on 3/4/07. I'm not surprised that he's posted a link to an alternate site as he appears to be the creator of that site or at the very least is an Administrator. I've taken a look over there and it's like a "Who's Who" of the people who have spent so much time here bashing conservatives, promoting liberal RINOs like Giuliani and Schwartzenegger, and subverting the conservative mission of this website. Mad Ivan created the site the day after Jim told him to "Get Lost!". I'm not surprised at all.

Hmmm...I see that the site was created on March 5th and that Mad Ivan and somebody named Repub4Rudy are the Administrators. And I also notice that your Free Republic screen name is Repub4bush. Coincidence? I don't think so. Did you two create the alternate forum for the liberals who have been infesting this site for so long because of Jim Robinson cracking the conservative whip on Mad Ivan the day before? Sure seems that way.

You know, your under the radar recruiting methods here on FR seem to be working somewhat as you've got a whole 50 users in one month - mostly liberal rejects from Free Republic. Like picking lice from an 800 pound gorilla, isn't it? Pick away.

I'd make a few recommendations for you, but it seems that you've got every one that I can think of right now.

Sorry, pal, but I will not be part of leading the Republican party to la la land. “Compassionate” conservatism was bad enough. Full blown liberalism will doom the party.

A moral man has stood up to them. Have you been attacked in the last 5 years?

The Muslims are beckoining their followers to multiply and spread themselves amongst us around the world.

A man like Rudy wants us to use the taxpayers money to help kill ourselves.

Who do you think is going to win?

I would just like to point out that Rudy threw Arafat out of Lincoln Center in New York back when all the libs, led by Bubba Shlump, were knocking each other over in their haste to kiss his filthy terrorist ass.

Rudy has stood strong for Israel, and strong on the WOT, regardless of whatever other issues we may disagree with him on.

He’s no Nancy F___ing Pelosi.

BTW, I’m hoping Fred Thompson gets in, so I “ain’t no lib Rino”.

The only outfit that discloses cross tabs, or otherwise reveals primary support by ideology, is Survey USA, and this is their most recent poll from a month ago. It was taken from March 3, 2007 to March 5, 2007. The sample was 562 likely GOP voters in the GOP primary in California. Giuliani's support has been pretty stable for a couple of months, most everywhere (with some small erosion some places to the non candidate Fred Thompson) but I suppose among GOP voters, he could be going way up with GOP moderates, and the tiny band of GOP liberals, while suffering some erosion among "conservatives." I doubt that however.

I hope this helps.
