Isn’t that the truth!!! Some of them have MAJOR issues; I guess being bested by housewives really upsets them, huh?

I don’t think the headline “Take it or leave it” is an insult either. It reflects well Rudy’s sentiments. I for one appreciate the candor.

re: I have to admit, I like this attitude better than the Mitt Romney, lifelong experience as a hunter, claim.)))

Yeah, I do too. Conservatives get lambasted for lack of "nuance"--we shouldn't immediately rag on someone who has the nerve to forego nuance. Blunt.

I'm leery of Rudy, but this is a point in his favor.

This is a manufactured insult.

Ah, but it's food for the haters on FR, you see?

The Pro-aborts are truly sickening in their reasoning (read: madness).

Rape is a violation, incest is a violation,

Mother life choice is her to make, especially if she has other little children at home that need their mother.

In these cases that is the individual soul searching not yours!

I have no idea where you read such a statement, just today he announced that he will be making a decision soon.

Strikes me as a perfectly reasonable position.

Actually, I agree ... and I'm no Rudy fan. I didn't take it as a dissing of social conservatives, but an acknowledgment that he is not likely to win the votes of primary voters who put a priority on pro-life principles.

And he is right.

Are you really not doing graphics anymore?

He's way too nice to say it, so I will.

I think he stopped because some of the nasty haters on here complained about one of his graphics.

Let’s all be clear on this: We are a conservative site, not a Republican site. No one has a right to demand that we abandon our principles and vote for a RINO.

Well done.

So how do you define a MODERATE or CONSERVATIVE. I’ve beeen called every name you can mention. However, I vote REPUBLICAN and don’t expect perfection. We voted for Bush and look, most of us differ with his spending, illegal immigration and a few other issues. However, it’s also important to look at his choices for SCOTUS, his stance on protecting our country and his honesty and decency.

So how do you define the differences?

Here’s my definition: I’m to the Right on most issues, but I TOLERATE others who are not purists. Most of this country is in the middle of the bell curve. It’s takes over 50 percent to win in the general election, and those folk who vote sometimes D sometimes R are the people who decide elections. We need a candidate that can appeal to them also.

I’d say that Fred Thompson, Rudy Giuliani, and Mitt Romney can possible fit in that category, and also have voter appeal. Any of them get my whole hearted support if they win the nomination.

Now, please share your Moderate-Conservative category?

Rape is a violation, incest is a violation

Indeed, but not a violation perpetrated by the innocent unborn child.

Mother life choice is her to make

I agree with that. It's an issue of 'self-defense' at that point.

In these cases that is the individual soul searching not yours!

In cases of rape or incest, if an abortion is chosen, that individual has said that there are times it is okay to kill an innocent party (other than in a self-defense situation). I don't believe that choice should be legal.
