I’ll take your word for it.
My point was that, unfortunately, politicians have to be especially circumspect about two uses and abuses of their statements: 1. They have to ensure that what they say cannot be taken out of context. Headlines and 8-second sound bites can alter the meaning of what a politician says by 180 degrees. 2. on the Internet, what a politician says is transcribed into the written word. It is very difficult to infer a politician’s tone (flippant or not flippant) in print, so politicians have to be careful to clarify the tone when they make statements that could be read in the wrong way.
Just my two cents.

I’m not trying to get you to vote for anybody. Do what you think is best.
Just don’t come around here carping about Hillary if you don’t support the ONLY other choice to at least try to keep her out of that Oval Office.

Liberal is used on FreeRepublic as Witch was used in Salem.
Often with the same veracity and intelligence.

Maybe we’ll just have fewer Dems then. Will you adopt their unwanted children? Hopefully you’ll raise as Republicans

But it should not be enforced!I see. So in some cases, it is okay to kill an innocent person.

If abortion is not the taking of a human life, why should Rudy or anyone else hate it? No one hates appendectomies. Well put. Rudy needs to be asked that very question.

Sounds like you havent stepped away at all from the emotion of the issue. I'm not sure anyone can. Clearly, passions run high on both sides and I think you'd pretty much have to be dead not to have emotions about the issue.

As a side note, Sean Hannity also makes an allowance for rape and incest and life of the mother when it comes to abortion.

Secondly, you are assuming that Rudy Giuliani is the ONLY candidate who can win as a Republican. Fred Thompson polls quite well against Hillary, and Rudy Giuliani is dropping now, and losing to Hillary at this point in time.In all fairness, Howlin is on the record as supporting Fred in the primaries. She's one of the good guys as far as I'm concerned. She just doesn't like the idea of people not supporting Rudy in the general if he God forbid wins the primary.

I welcome all the help that can be mustered in sinking the Rootie Rudder. I think i will send send CNN a thank you note.
Rudy will lose to any of the top RATS and split the Republican party. He is dual damage. He must be CRUSHED.

I think if you load him up and read his comments it is apparent he is here to cause dissention and calamity. He admitted that he is a TROLLThat's another registard lie. You really need reading comprehension remedial lessions. I said I was trolling on the wideawakes site, not here.
I see it's really making you nervous that I have inner-sanctum access to that anti-freep site you are a member of. Wouldn't you just LOVE to know how I do that, and the account name I use?
Go back to making funny pictures, that's all you are good for.

A simple I wont be supporting Rudy statement would have been sufficient, Liz. Reg, you have every reason to chastize me.
But I am not backing down. My unfiltered response was necessary......I have never heard a candidate dump on social conservatives in such a manner.
To my mind, this atack on voters by a candidate is unforgiveable.
This individual does not want to govern---he wants to rule. He thinks he can stomp on social conservatives who get in the way of his ambitions.
Over my dead body he will.

Oh, I see; you're scared the country will actually vote for him if he gets the nomination and you're trying to destroy him now. That actually sums it up quite well.
