Airport security is your definition of “rising up against islamo-fascist terrorism”.

No, spending 100 billion a year on the Iraq war is. That's not chicken feed. And tens of billions more on Homeland Security. If you think we're ignoring terrorism, or not fighting terrorism, let's see you explain that to the kids whose dads are serving in Iraq or Afghanistan - or who have died serving there.

Now we are getting somewhere. But no matter how much money we spend, if we keep fearing what the world court of public opinion thinks - because most of the rest of the free world appears to want to keep this war at arms length - and our law makers keep worrying about getting voted out of office over this war - because so many in this country want to abandon the fight against islamo-fascist terrorism in Iraq - and our soldiers aren’t allowed to proceed with overwhelming force - because it looks bad on the six o’clock news - then no matter how much money we spend, we will not win this thing - not without the resolve to do what it takes - like invade Iran, Syria, etc.
