I don’t think the generation that fought the Veitnam war is the generation that lost it. In fact, the the movers and shakers of the Vietnam era were the vets of WWII.

Good point. I think Ann was referring to the Kerrys and the Fondas, but without the McNamaras, there would be no Kerrys and Fondas.
