We lift up our brother in Christ, George W. Bush to You today, thanking You for the witness of Your love he continues to provide and for the example of repaying good for evil, day after day. We confess that sometimes we wish that he would lash out and give his enemies what they deserve ..but then we are reminded that vengeance belongs to You, and You alone, and You will repay. We ask that President Bush might be in constant prayer, seeking wise counsel, and in daily study of Your word. Help his thoughts to be Your thoughts, and his heart to be Your heart. Grant him wisdom and discernment in the difficult decisions he must make, and keep him humble before You, knowing that You alone must receive all the glory.
Father, we continue to remember the many members of our military who are serving in harms way far from family and home, and we ask that You would make Your presence felt among them. Grant them Your protection and the wisdom to seek out and have victory over the evil enemy that they fight. Give them comfort and peace in the absence of loved ones, and give their families that same comfort that You are indeed with them. We ask that Your hand of healing would be upon those who have been wounded in battle, and especially pray that You would wrap Your loving arms around those who have lost loved ones and give them peace.
We pray for this nation, O Lord, asking for Your cleansing of this land. We pray that You will prod the remnant of Your people here among us to more fervent prayer, and more loving deeds. We pray that we might spread the sweet fragrance of Your love to others who need to know of it, and as we approach the day when we remember Your sacrifice and suffering on the cross, help us to take up our cross and follow You. In the precious Name of the Lamb of God we pray, Amen!
Please join us in prayer for our President, our troops and our nation!

Amen! Dear Lord, thank You for a president who follows Your lead and thank You for giving him renewed confidence, strength and leadership abilities. Thank You for answered prayer! In the Name of Jesus, we pray, amen!
Amen.
Father, we know whom we have believed, and are convinced that You are able to guard what we have entrusted to You. And so, we are not ashamed. We commit to staying strong in faith keeping our eyes alone on Jesus, the One on whose shoulders the government rests.
As we have prayed in obedience to Your Word, we thank You for keeping our President, protecting our troops and releasing Your Spirit to convict concerning righteousness.
It is an awesome thing to gather with other believers through Your Spirit in harmonious agreement, and we rejoice in how big You and Your lovingkindness are. We love You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
