Ah, you incorrectly assumed my affiliation. Public-funding-of-partial-birth-abortion-loving Guilianni can go kiss my conservative Californian behind. (For the record, my pecking order is Hunter, Thompson, then Romney.)

What I posted was a defense of Californian conservatives - just pointing out that of the top 3 announced, running contenders, we shouldn't be too surprised if one of them got a bit over a third in a poll.

Oh, well, then good for you. My bad.

We've gotten a little wary of the CA GOP since the whole Arnold thing. A lot of us had admired McClintock's instincts and tenacity for years, even out here in flyover country.

I still think you guys missed your chance. But I can't fix the CA GOP. I can only watch it warily from a distance.
