FUnnie! I was sort of expecting the Singing Nun but this was great. Nice sense of humor.
FYI. Something you might want to incorporate into this weekend’s activities. Is it possible to have big widescreen TV playing YouTube at your church?
Dear randita,
Thanks for the ping!
A little unusual Classical Music Ping List ping!
If you want on or off this list, let me know via FR e-mail.
Thanks,
sitetest
That is awesome!
this choir is nothing but gay men, lol!

Thank you!!! That was wonderful. I will have to send that to some of my family.
They must have SOME countertenor section to be singing that soprano line, huh?!!!
You DID get the “Singing Nuns”. The opening “funny bit” was the back row of the nuns flaunting their Sister Bertrille habits ;-).
Now that’s funny right there! I don’t care who you are!
That was wonderful! Are they real nuns? Where did this clip originate? I loved it!
Don’t know where it originated. Someone sent me the link. Maybe you can get more info from the youtube site—e-mail youtube poster, e.g.
They are definitely not real nuns, as most if not all, are men.
My guess is that it was part of a variety show of some type that someone videotaped. The quality of the videotape is not that good. You can hear the audience laughing, so it was a live performance.
Well, it certainly takes a lot of co-ordination to pull off that performance.
Ping!
Note: These are probably not actual nuns, but rather, gay guys. Even so, it’s cute.
I got tired of cutsie things with nuns in the 50s. sry
and you’re probably right that they are gay guys. Sadly, nuns don’t dress any differently anymore than you and I.
I wouldn’t know. I’m a Prosestant so I have to be on the lookout for whackos who style themselves as ministers.
