Honestly, I think Savage is listening to Dennis Millers show and burning up. Savage is big in the independent conservative niche, and Miller is a strong challenger for that title, given his performance so far. Keep an eye on this one. Either that or he's really off his meds today, like the trolls claim. Now Savage is admitting that Assad is a "no goodnik," but says that perhaps we can get through to him. If he believes that, I've got a bridge to sell him in the Sahara!

Savage is just messing with us, and probably a little pissed that Miller had a great opening week. I’m a Savageaholic, but Miller’s show has been very good and in only his second week he is much more relaxed and natural on the air.

Don't worry Tark, there's always a method to Savage's madness to some, genius to others. Savage accuses Bush of knowing about the Pelosi trip beforehand and is now merely playing his part of the 'good cop bad cop' charade.
If Pelosi is undermining Bush, then Bush has no one to blame but himself. He's been kissing Dem-Rat BUTT ever since he got into office. I think he calls it 'compassionate' conservatism, I call it non-stop buffoonery.
