Flexing their political muscle, members of MoveOn.Org plan to hold a virtual town hall meeting April 10 to question some of the presidential candidates about the war in Iraq.
...This event will give real people a chance to ask presidential candidates tough questions about Iraq, the most important issue of our time, said Eli Pariser, MoveOn.org Political Actions Executive Director.
...So far, Senators Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) and Barack Obama (D-Ill.), as well as former Senator John Edwards (D-N.C.), have each agreed to be available for the question and answer session. But 10 percent of MoveOn members must first say they want to hear from a candidate before he or she will be invited to participate.

In Barack Obama's case, this is definitely willful. On March 15, Obama was asked to repudiate MoveOn.org because of its sponsorship of racist, anti-Catholic, and anti-Semitic hate speech at its disgraced Action Forum. The letter that was E-mailed to the Obama campaign may be seen here: http://www.israpundit.com/2006/?p=4206.
MoveOn.org itself published the following "the Catholics are taking over America" cartoon in 2005, and we must remind the entire country of this between now and 2008.
http://www.stentorian.com/MoveOn/ has a huge collection (occupying three entire Web pages, one was too small to hold all of it) of the hate speech from MoveOn.org's Action Forum. It includes blood libels of Jews and evangelical Christians, e.g. accusations that the Talmud is a "hateful scripture" that urges Jews to hate non-Jews, and that evangelical Christians somehow conspired with the Bush Administration to murder Catholics in New Orleans (after the hurricane). MoveOn's people use "Jew" as an epithet while calling prominent African-Americans "house slaves." Association with MoveOn.org should be enough to disqualify any candidate in the minds of decent voters, and we (decent Americans) have only ourselves to blame for not exploiting this during the 2006 elections. We must not make the same mistake in 2008, unless we want to see Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton behind the Presidential seal.
The National "Jewish" Democratic Council is equally repugnant, noting that it itself has published anti-Semitic propaganda while directing contempt at Christians, e.g. with derogatory pictures of Christian ministers telling their congregations that a vote for Bush is a vote for God. NJDC also knowingly and willfully lied to help cover up for MoveOn.org's hate speech. Ira Forman is a liar to whom anti-Semitism is a bad thing only when he can sling this accusation at Republicans.
These people are so filled with themselves and their own deluded self importance. Any question they have interest in is "the most important issue of our time."
Bah! The most important issue to them is not the growing threat of Islamofacists, or terrorism, or of nuclear proliferation among rogue states, no, it's George W. Bush and the war in Iraq. These people are lunatics. I'd like to see news cameras rolling of these yard birds, no doubt in their hippie getup, asking their crazed questions.
Let the donkey blood flow.
MoveOn.org = ASPAC (American Socialist Political Action Committee)
This is great,ping
Virtual town hall means nobody can tell how few people actually participated.
I have always believed that Moveon.org is a small bunch of loudmouths, some of them with money. Unfortunately, they draw donations from the wingnuts-at-large.
They’re not going to answer any questions about the war. Just watch, they’ll simply bash Bush.
Its time to call Move On what it is.A Branch of the American Communist party. Thats what it is.
there, I fixed it.
...And it's STILL flaccid.
You can guarantee that very little of this will see the light of day in the MSM, because it will put Hillary and Obama on the spot.
