Russia, which is separated from Iran in the south by three tiny South Caucasus nations and shares a sea border with the Islamic Republic, has been actively promoting a diplomatic solution to the Iranian issue.Really what solution have they proposed? It seems to me that they just get in the way.

Screw Russia. They are not freinds of the free world. Russia will always be an obstruction to freedom.

Would it be OK with the Russians if the US thought three times about attacking Iran? How about four times? Five?

Ok, during an air strike on Iran, let several of our bombers approach toward the Russian boundaries of Caspian Sea (I hope they will see them on the radar) just to harass them for what they have done to counter our efforts to apply sanctions on Iran. They should get our message.

Maybe Russia should have worried about selling nuclear weapons technology to a buncha apocalyptic nutjobs.
Too bad, so sad.

Russia still believes that they possess most/all of their neighbors, I see.

Then why have they done as much as possible to aggravate the situation?

"Any military action near our border is totally unacceptable," Andrei Denisov said. "We are strongly against it and we are doing our best to prevent it from happening."If that's their "best", then they need to try harder. They have coddled and supported Iran, and have therefore helped to create the monster that now needs to be dealt with. If they don't want military action near their border, then they'd better get with the program.

"Any military action near our border is totally unacceptable," Andrei Denisov said. Calm down, calm down, Andrei. There's a new sheriff in town.
