Look folks, I'm in the structural steel designing field, so I know what I'm talking about. Jet fuel burns at about 800° to 1500° depending on how much oxygen is being fed to the flames. High strength steel (A572-Grade 50) begins to loose its' structural integrity at around 600°. Those fires burned for at least an hour in a strong wind; long enough to defeat any safety threshold designed into the structure.

Now if they'd only been allowed to encase the structural steel in asbestos like had been done for decades past, It would have been a whole different story...

well...Rosie’s obsession isn’t with the Twin Towers - it’s with WT7, which collapsed later.

She claims there were only 3 “small fires”. Not true.

She ignores that WT7 was hit by debri from the plane crash and gouged out a large portion of the building -compromising the structural support.

Another freeper thread talked about some sort of fuel that was stored in WT7 that would have ignited and exploded as well -keeping the fires hot and lengthy.

I forget what kind of fuel or why it was there.

Just another example of how the liberal idiots are taking us back to the dark ages. (DDT being another example)
