I have no problem with a single man marrying a much-younger woman, or the fact that for two years he dated a woman who has had five husbands (country singer Lori Morgan.) Likewise, I don’t have a problem with divorce, if people who are unhappy together need to get out of a loveless marriage. FDR had a woman in his life that was not his wife for many many years btw. That didn’t impact his ability to lead the country and win WWII.
well those who have no problem with fred’s marriage to a younger woman and prior relationships when he was single, are not hypocritical for finding a publicly adulterous affair on the part of rudy immoral. you seem to be attempting to make that a hypocritical stance and i am simply pointing out why it is not. the immorality charge against rudy is based not on his divorce, but rather on the very public adulterous affair.
So you had no problem with Bill Clinton and Monica? You never said he was committing adultery or that he should have had more decency?

FDR was our most dangerous President. He was a very good politician, ie, a very good liar. But he made the Great Depression longer and was the greatest threat to our freedoms (court packing and other malfeasances) that we had in our history.
You make your case so well, I think we should simply restrict our candidates to once-married ones. ...eg, Romney, the coMITTed one.
