This isn’t about who we should be grateful for not running. This is about who can best represent American conservatives AND who can beat Hitlery and her pimp media.

In some ways Rudy is a good choice except for the fact that ideologically, he’s a rightwing Democrat. He’s way too left for me on social issues.

McLame would be a disaster as POTUS but maybe he can beat Hitlery.

The MSM will never allow Romney in the White House; they will beat him up as the “Pope” of a cult.

Thompson’s good on tv. He’s right on most of the big issues. He could charm the MSM; and most important he could beat Hitlery.

The Dole comment was HUMOR. Of course we should be concerned with who is running.

I understand your dilemma. I choose to look at the entire campaign as the selection of someone who will keep us from being ruled by democrats (and "rule" is the exact word I choose to use).

It's all a matter of perspective, I suppose. I don't think any of the really conservative candidates is going to get traction, and if Thompson announces as a candidate I guarantee you that there will be things that surface that you won't like about him, either. The only reason we haven't seen hit pieces on him yet is that the press is holding their fire and using Thompson as a way to erode numbers for Romney and Guiliani. Should Thompson declare, I guarantee that you will suddenly see less than flattering articles about him, too.
