Where did Thompson say that he is pro-life and not pro-choice with exceptions? ~~ The_Eaglet

FOX News Interview, 3-11-2007.

Eaglet, as you know, I go Hell-Bent-for-Leather against the GOP Establishmentarians whenever they try to employ Half-Truths and Deceit against our favored Candidate, the Honorable Congressman Ron Paul.

That being said, in the spirit of Argumentative Charity, I am honor-bound to also give Credit where it is due.

Since I am determined to oppose the GOP Establishmentarians whenever they try to employ Half-Truths and Deceit against Ron Paul, I believe that I must extend the same Christian Charity to Fred Thompson... unless and until he proves otherwise.

In the meantime, Thompson's pseudo-candidacy is hurting the "annointed front-runners"... and as Ron Paul is currently running 4th behind the Front-Runners, that may well be to our benefit.

Don't fear the Fred. If he actually does run, Ron Paul will still continue to gain strength from "your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free." And if he doesn't run... why, that's even better. Fred is damaging the 3 Front-Runners in a race where Ron Paul is already running 4th.

Don't fear the Fred. He may well be our Icebreaker.

Best, OP

Fred Thompson did run as a “Pro-Choicer” in 1994. This is Historical Fact.

Back it up.

Thanks for that statement, OP to everybody else trying to make the point about Thompson's current stated position). Given that he has voted for federal budgets in the past, including DHHS funding, which repeatedly sends our tax dollars to Planned Parenthood, I still do not see his record as reliable, whether it's the older "pro-choice" Thompson or the present "pro-life" Thompson. The budgets have been repeatedly fiscally and socially liberal.

Having that said, I am happy to see that Thompson has taken a pro-life stand, and I hope it becomes more consistent in his citizenship.
