"Ha ha, I agree, he should look at supporting a new candidate who has a genuine conservative message."

How quickly you throw your candidate Romney by the wayside.

I don't know how you could have imagined I support Slick Willard. I wouldn't vote for him in ANY election.

FWIW, these two hosts are country club republicans who live in a 10,000 s.f., $6 million house which was the highest price ever recorded in NC for a residential property back in 2005.

When exactly did it become chic on FR to slight people for being successful? Would it be better if the Wos's household income was $35k? If so, why?

"And raising taxes, etc."

You're misinformed. Rudy cut NYC taxes and levies over and over, saving billions for taxpayers. He cut NYC's top income-tax rate by 20.6%. Local city taxes on a family of four dropped 23.7%. He cut the commercial-rent tax. He cut sales taxes, including taxes on clothing. He cut the marriage penalty taz. He cut taxes on commercial rents and on small businesses and self-employed New Yorkers. He privatized municipal assets, selling city-owned radio and television stations and divested the City from the New York Coliseum adding $345 million to erase the City's red ink. He cut NYC's hotel tax from 6% to 5%. Tourism increased 50% in the city per year during Rudy's tenure. Personal income increased 50%. Unemployment in the city went form 10.3% to 5.1%.

...spoken like a true country clubber.

I met Culbertson a few years ago and you nailed that one. He wouldn't know a conservative from a fire hydrant. If Hillary changed her registration, Culbertson would beg to be her NC campaign manager.

Interesting.
I have heard the name but don't know anything else about him. I know the type well, though.

Nice cherry picking, and I am sure a few of those are not even close to true.

Keep tooting!

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is leading in national polls of the Republican presidential field, is picking up support in North Carolina.

Bumpity bump!

It is intellectually dishonest to keep posting this chart without a corresponding chart of annual increase in city receipts.

Incredible hypocrisy. It is intellectually dishonest to pretend that wild increases in spending are fiscally conservative.

"He is basically conservative, outside the social issues."
And raising taxes, etc.

And Gun Control.

Now on wife #3... oh, is that a social issue??? Just how many does it become a matter of character?

You are simply wrong. Rudy ran a frigging SURPLUS.

Diarrheac posting of your only-half-the-story chart is indefensible, but doesn't surprise me.
