SIOUX CITY, Iowa - If President Bush vetoes an Iraq war spending bill as promised, Congress quickly will provide the money without the withdrawal timeline the White House objects to because no lawmaker "wants to play chicken with our troops," Sen. Barack Obama (news, bio, voting record) said Sunday.

Thank you HonestConservative, it's not surprising that you would share my point. See you on the flip flop.
I want to see the President call these children back in from Easter Break the day after he Vetoes their pathetic attempt to make him look like the villain.
neoCOMs
I like it!
The Democrat/Socialists in Congress (which means all of them) are trying to undermine our troops, while Pelosi is trying to undermine our national policy against terror sponsoring states by visiting Syria. Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) also visited with the enemy in Syria in December 2006. The Democrat/Socialists are guilty of treason, by giving aid and comfort to the enemy, just as sure as if they were supplying weapons to the enemy. They embolden the enemy by signaling that the U.S. will quit the war, surrender, on a date certain. In war, any objective other than victory is treason.
I started using the term a couple of years ago on the net in response to Maureen Dowd, Chris Mathews, and others using NeocoN as a cutesy way of demonstrating antisemitism without being overt about their hatred for Jews and The State of Israel.
Later, I realized that the term liberal was another blind to mask the new communist. When we and others used the term Liberal than we were providing additional cover for what we are truly facing. I'm hoping that the vernacular changes and that our fellow Freepers and others will stop using the term Liberal and call a spade a spade: new communist, AKA NEOCOM.(plus, I know that they hate it. Not only because they know that we are pulling them out of the closet, but because it makes it harder for them to use their little Jew hating word)
I am not seeing much ongoing coverage of this. And the bill has not yet reached the president to veto.
We must not let this comment from Obama be swept under the rug. We must ensure the pundits talk about it in the evening, that funding is fait accompli and just awaits formalities.
