Actually I think it supports overturning Roe vs. Wade. And I believe he was referring to the federal government because that is the only government level he has engaged.

Those that believe that the federal government including the US Supreme Court have no jurisdiction in matters of deciding when life begins, are believers that such matters are issues for the States to decide.

It's a States rights issue.

And FDT has consistently voted against pro-choice and for pro-life legislation.

So I am afraid your attempted point is incomplete, inconsistent and vacuous.

Back in 1994, when there was nothing to be gained or lost in a nationsl race, several stories from significant news outlets described Thompson as a pro-choice Republican candidate, there are no records of Thompson challenging those articles at that time.

Why didn't he?
