If you don't give money to Republicans, they smile and shrug. But if you don't give money to hillary, you will be eviscerated if and when she gets into the White House.
I'm sure a lot of corporations and rich individuals will donate to hillary just to get the regulators and the IRS off their backs in case she manages to win. Just look at what clinton did to Bill Gates and Rupert Murdoch because they didn't donate as much as he thought they should.
