Each Defendant got $15,000, out of which $10,000 went to the client and $5,000 went to his lawyer. The client got twice as much as the lawyer. All three clients got a total of $30,000, and their lawyer got a total of $15,000.

Why?

You apparently think that the clients should get the entire amount of the settlement and the lawyer should get nothing. There was presumably a written agreement, why should it not be enforced?

Why do you call the attorney "the enemy"?
