How many other Thompsons are out there? There's Jim Thompson, ex-governor of Illinois, and Jenny Thompson (8-time Olympic gold medal winner)--she will be 35 next February and was born in the US, but I don't know if she is a Republican or a Democrat.
Tommy was conservative regarding social policies and judges but he spent money like crazy as governor.
Fred Thompson, of Law and Order Fame, is the one we want to run.
