That I do agree with. Bush's frequent silence during tough times has been most unhelpful. He very rarely takes the time to explain the war to Americans. And when he does, he mangles his words in a distracting manner.

Bush needed to keep the economy of the country growing.....what would he call for, RATIONING?? No nylons, no meat, no gas, no sugar, etc like in WWII??? That would collapse our country and we wouldn't be ABLE to pay for the military!
