Yeah...the spin will continue if anything happens at all with CNN, MSNBC or the networks.
The sad truth is the Republicans are wimps. They are all scared to death of the democrats and their friends, the so-called main stream media. Either that or they are all in bed together so to speak. After watching both parties for closely for 25 years, I have recently come to the conclusion that no matter what happens...they cover for each other. The dems come out looking like a million bucks because they have the liberal media on their side. The Republicans are scared of the media so they just don't say anything and let things slide. You know...George H W Bush was called a wimp many, many times. I never thought George W Bush was like his father but my opinion of him has changed. President Bush has failed time and again to go and tell the people of this country the truth about why we are in Iraq. He could have pounded this home again and again but he doesn't and his poll ratings are the result of his inaction. His advisors are either inept or are working for the other side!

I enthusiastically voted for President Bush twice but my opinion of the man has changed, too. After six years, Bush STILL has a Justice Department that is corrupt to the core, and a CIA and State Department which are little more than rogue leak machines whose sole purpose is to undermine the administration.

It is an embarrassment that George W. Bush turned out to be too weak to do anything about these institutions while he had a chance.

President Bush is tired.

I have a feeling he's watching the clock until he can retire to Crawford. The evidence is all over the place. It appears he simply doesn't have the stomach for a fight anymore. Just look at how the rats can fabricate a "scandal" (the fired US Attorneys) and instead of laughing in their faces and telling them to go play in the street ("Nobody is testifying at your circus, your subpoenas are going straight into the trash can, and by the way I just fired five more US Attorneys because it's Thursday") Bush sends Gonzales off on an apology tour!

It's a shame, because the President could use his lame duck status to be a loud voice and a real force in the "bully pulpit" since he doesn't have any more elections to worry about and the rat Congress is going to do NOTHING to help him in any way legislatively.

Let me put it this way. If I told you to look for a red balloon, and you started to concentrate on a red balloon, I mean really concentrate...you'd find it. Now if I started to add yellow ones,pink ones,blue ones..you'd still be looking for the red one, and most likely disregard all those silly other balloons (theories), but if I sent in a few red and white balloons, and others started to point to the other ones, and still others start to yell all those others balloons are just stupid .... and suddenly I'm standing there holding a red balloon and telling you that this is the one I told you to look for..(the commission)
you would probably say "hey thanks, I was getting confused"
..and suddenly you recall wait..that first balloon was drifting over there...and now your sort of worried.. maybe..a doubt...then Rosie shows up with two blue balloons
You'd get tired of balloons, and wouldn't want to deal with them....or it, the original red one
