It's hard to denounce the Iranian gov't as you board an aircraft hand in hand with a muslim ( "congressman" ellison ) to visit Iran's largest client state, Syria!
This is what the GOP should be shouting from the roof tops.

The reason why she hasn't done or said anything about it is because she is on the same side as the Iranians. She hates the war and more importantly, hates President Bush. To her, the President is the enemy, not the Iranians who are KILLING OUR SOLDIERS with their sophisticated IEDs and other weaponry they have smuggled into Iraq!
All of these Democrats are so blinded by their hatred of ONE man that they will pass silly and pointless resolutions and spending bills that will go nowhere at the expense of the American people, now these British military personnel--just to make their point. The sickness and the utter stupidity, the immaturity of these people is beyond measure!

"The leadership discussed it and agreed that inserting Congress into an international crisis while ongoing would not be helpful," Daly said. Oh, right. Like they aren't already inserting themselves in our own crisis in Iraq by meddling and trying to micromanage that entire war, and that is almost fatally unhelpful?
Can these people ever say anything honestly?

If Hezbollah snatches Pelosi while she's in Syria, should the White House denounce it?

"The leadership discussed it and agreed that inserting Congress into an international crisis while ongoing would not be helpful," Daly said. Gee, how thoughtful. Too bad they don't feel the same way about inserting themselves into an ongoing WAR.

"The leadership discussed it and agreed that inserting Congress into an international crisis while ongoing would not be helpful," Daly said. But they have no problems inserting a delegation into the Israeli/Syrian international crisis that has been brewing since last years Israeli/Lebanon conflict.

Pelosi's spokesman Brendan Daly said the speaker was reluctant to weigh in on the incident without knowing that such a message would do more good than harm. Daly said the British government had not asked Congress to try to pressure Tehran.Sure. Maybe the politically naive will even believe her.

Now why would you be disappointed that Frau Pelosi did not say anything about her friends and buddies in al-Qaeda. Have you been brain washed to believe that she is for the United States?

If Hezbollah snatches Pelosi while she's in Syria, should the White House denounce it? Depends on whether she's already announced she's negotiating with Assad or not. If she hasn't, then we try to get her back. If she has, the President can express confidence in her ability to negotiate her own release.

I am a public relations manager by profession and Pelosi's spokesboy blew it big time with this message:
"...the speaker was reluctant to weigh in on the incident without knowing that such a message would do more good than harm"
Uh, a criminal nation is holding 15 of your best ally's soldiers against their will and you can't call them out on it????? It takes a lot for the Dems to disgust me beyond the contempt I already feel for them, but they may have found a way with this one. BAD PR statement from her spokesboy, in this PR person's opinion.

With Democrats in charge it is much more dangerous to be a friend and ally of the United States than an Enemy.
South Vietnam and the Shah of Iran is two examples.
