Why do you think this Country can't afford abortion, but can afford to have millions of children born out of wedlock to uneducated women who would have to raise them as single parents? Are you reducing human life to "what our country can afford"? Kill the unborn because we can't afford them? By your lights, then we should euthanize the elderly because we can't afford Social Security. Culture of death.
