Let's try a little thought exercise.

In reviewing a Bill before Congress, say the award of a taxpayer-financed $30,000 Gold Medal for a noteworthy person such as Pope John Paul II, George W. Bush announces "You know, fellas, I don't think there's actually any Clause in the Constitution which authorizes us to perform these kind of give-aways using taxpayer funds -- HOWEVER, I'm certainly willing to celebrate the life of Pope John Paul II by contributing funds for a Congressional Gold Medal out of my own Presidential salary, and I invite each and every Congressman to do the same."

And then let's say that Adam Clymer of the New York Times reports the story as follows: "Kook President Bush Opposes Congressional Gold Medal celebrating life of Pope John Paul II", with absolutely NO mention of President Bush's constitutional reasoning for doing so, and absolutely NO mention of his willingness to donate his OWN private funds to provide for a Congressional Gold Medal...

WHY, we FReepers would call Adam Clymer a "Lying Presstitute" and every other name in the FReeper Handbook of opprobrium, and EXCORIATE him for his "Selective Reporting" -- which is to say Deliberately Lying by Half-Truths.

Well, guess what? It is no less deceitful, dishonest and UnChristian when you do the exact same thing, "Dog Gone". Is it not rumored, of Satan, that he always prefers a half-truth to a bald-faced lie, the better to accomplish his deceptions?

It is frankly infuriating to me to see unethical Decievers like yourself play the same dishonest, lying games for which we (rightly!) heap calumny upon the Left... and then think you can get away with it by attacking me as an "embarassment to the Forum" when you get called on it.

No Dice, kemosabe. Deceiving by "selective reporting", Lying by Half-Truths and clever omissions, is beneath the morality of any God-fearing Christian Conservative.
