I agree with you and I also believe there is more going on than we know (yet)... it's time people wake up to what is bound to happen if we insist on pushing out the farmers and start importing more and more of our food stuffs. This could be the canary in the coal mine scenario.
Yes. It wouldn't take them this long to figure out what was in there. I think the makers of the food waited too long and ignored the signs it was bad. I think the feds know someone in red China tossed in some "spice" and they're hesitating, because they're pondering deliberate, or accidental. Probably a "diplomacy" thing.
Things like this have happened in the US also. That's why they have seals on pkgs and more oversight in the food/drug plants. I don't necessarily mean govm't oversight either. The CN plants and any ones in the US should have noticed this if they had brains. The pH of the food would have been funny and a cause to stop and determine what was wrong. Apparently they have morons in charge of their mngmnt and QC.
Thanks for your info on this thread. It's shocking to me that people don't get it. The cheap crap we have imported for years is no longer just cluttering our landfills but poisoning our pets. Next it will be us and "conservatives" here will wail that the government should have done more.
