I wonder if this is actually true - or if putting out this news is a way of deflecting Iran from sabre rattling.

Also, I certainly do not think any such technology should be sold to Turkey. There are just too many possibilities of spies getting a hold of the product and building up a better missile capable of getting through the shield.

Or a way to avoid dealing with the Iranian threat. They could say no need to take out Iranian nukes since they have this missile defense. Just like the security fence was a substitute for a tough defense policy this is the airborne version of the security fence.

It's true. Israel's been pursuing effective ballistic missile defense since the Gulf War with diligence, intelligence and passion that would do Thomas Edison proud. The problem is that if when Iran gets a nuke, it'll be delivered in the trunk of a stolen taxi cab, not by ballistic missile.
