It's pretty easy to pick out people that are clueless about mj, such as the article that this author is quoting. "Skunk" is just a strain name. Nothing more. Nothing less.

"The Forensic Science Service says that in the early nineties cannabis would contain around 1% tetrahydrocannabidinol (THC), the mind-altering compound, but can now have up to 25%."

Just one of the flat out lies. 1% THC would only give you a raging headache. It takes at least 3% to create a buzz. 1% is called HEMP.

Another thing to remember that the drug warriors are clueless about: Potency is 99.9% GENETIC.

1% is called HEMP.

We in SE Wisconsin call that "Walworth County ditch". It'll give you a sore throat and a bad cough and that's about it. During WWII the farmers around here grew hemp to make rope for the Navy since the manila fiber from the Philippines was not available. After the war hemp was no longer cultivated but persists to this day as a hearty weed growing along many country back-roads and byways.

I always get a laugh when some city kids get busted for whacking down a couple of six foot plants and stuffing them in the trunk. The Sheriff gets credit for a "major drug bust" and the kids get to anty up to the court clerk. And so it goes...

Regards,
GtG
