Somebody is going to get caught in the perjury trap if they keep talking. We will have another Scooter Libby. No crime, but different recollections of events will lead to prison time.

I think that's the point. The president had the right, even the responsibility, to fire the attorneys if they weren't carrying out his policies, which people voted for by electing him. But if a firing squad of democrats and republican co-conspirators ask enough questions, they could trip anyone up. Then scream perjury in a hearing room full of salivating democrats.
