> Gonzales problem seems to be endemic in the GOP right now. When Dem's attack, start apologizing and groveling ASAP.
Well, I think part of the problem is that Bush's loyalty, while great in theory and in private life, is not serving him well as President. Miers for SCOTUS? Puh-leez! Gonzales as AG? Not the best choice, as we have been finding out through the years, and especially lately.
The AG serves at the President's pleasure too, so Mr. Bush must be happy with the shoddy work Gonzo is doing! Too bad neither one of them has a clue as to what the American folks really want-that being secure borders, ship the illegals back to their home, and a workable green card solution-and until they react accordingly, I see nothing but trouble lurking for both of them from the dimwits in the House and Senate. I only wonder why the Feds didn't go after Sen. Schumer on the stealing of the personal information of the guy in Maryland that ran for the Senate. Wasn't that a violation of federal laws? If so, why did Chuckie skate on it? He was in charge of the dimwits' Senate campaigns wasn't he?
