No thank you.... I will not vote for Rudy or McCain under ANY circumstances. And before you rehash old ground of "not voting for Rudy is a vote for..." remember that the GOP has a CHOICE.
Either put up a CONSERVATIVE both social and fiscal or don't get the Christian conservative vote.
MAYBE the GOP can abandon it's base and reach out to independent voters and gain enough votes to make up for the loss of Christian conservatives.... OR MAYBE, the larger voting block is with the Christian Conservatives ... more than what is available by the independents. Remember, it's not VOLUME of voters, it's ACTUAL voters and Christian conservatives will crawl through broken glass to get out their vote. Can you say the same for someone who does not even want to decide on a party? I don't think so.
The truth is, winning elections is about turning out your base ... not abandoning them for the hope of some independents.
